A Montessori-Inspired Islamic Program for Young Children

As a proud mother of three, Sister Anisah brings warmth, patience, and care into her teaching. She looks forward to partnering with families and being part of each child’s learning journey, inshAllah.

Join us this Fall for a warm, nurturing, and faith-centered learning experience designed especially for young children. Hub Cubs combines hands-on learning, creativity, independence, and Islamic values in a calm classroom environment where children can learn, grow, and feel loved.

Our program provides:

  • small class size (1:5 teacher to student ratio)

  • an Islamic Montessori-inspired curriculum designed to foster a love for Islam while strengthening each child's Muslim identity, character, and values.

  • complimentary parent/guardian co-working space, giving you a productive place to work, relax, or catch up while your child enjoys their program. Staying on-site is always optional.

About the Program

Hub Cubs combines Montessori-inspired learning with Islamic values in a nurturing and respectful classroom environment. We believe every child is born with fitrah, a natural curiosity, love for learning, and a connection to Allah.

Children are encouraged to learn through hands-on activities, practical life skills, exploration, and purposeful play. Islamic values are naturally woven into the day through manners, simple duas, gratitude, kindness, patience, honesty, and care for Allah’s creation.

Our goal is to partner with families to help children grow spiritually, emotionally, socially, and academically, while building confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.

  • 9:00–9:15 Arrival & Calm Exploration

  • 9:15–10:00 Circle Time & Lesson Focus

  • 10:00–10:45 Montessori Work Stations

  • 10:45–11:05 Movement & Gross Motor Play

  • 11:10–11:30 Snack Time

  • 11:30–12:00 Interactive Storytime

  • 12:00–12:30 Quiet Work & Creative Activities

  • 12:30–12:45 Reflection & Wind Down Circle

  • 12:45–1:00 Pickup & Calm Free Play

*Scheduled restroom breaks are incorporated throughout the day during activity transitions. A care provider will be available to provide restroom assistance when needed.

Meet Sister Anisah

Assalamualaikum and welcome!

Sister Anisah is passionate about creating a warm, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and feel loved.

She enjoys helping young children build confidence, independence, creativity, and a love for learning through hands-on experiences. She has pursued Montessori training and incorporates Islamic learning, kindness, and creativity into the classroom.

Unit 1: I am a Muslim

Children will build their Islamic identity by learning who they are as Muslims, who Allah is, and how Muslims worship and show kindness.

Essential Question:

"Who am I as a Muslim?"

Islamic Concepts:

  • Allah is our Creator

  • Islamic greetings

  • Five Daily Prayers

  • Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and his character

Montessori Connections:

  • Practical Life

  • Sensorial Exploration

Unit 2: Allah’s beautiful creations

Children explore the beauty of Allah’s creation through fall changes, nature, animals, and harvest.

Essential Question:

"What beautiful things did Allah create?"

Islamic Concepts:

  • Al-Khaliq - The creator

  • Gratitude

  • Caring for creation

  • Prophet Nuh (pbuh)

Montessori Connections:

  • Nature studies

  • Classification

  • Observation

  • Practical Life 

Unit 3: Living Islam Every Day/ My Character

Children practice Islamic values through daily actions and learn how they can serve Allah by caring for themselves, others, and the world around them.

Essential Question:

"How can I show my love for Allah?"

Islamic Concepts:

  • Al- Wadud - The most loving

  • Islamic manners (Kindness, greetings, helping others)

  • Prophet Ibrahim (pbuh)

  • Sabr- patience 

Montessori Connection:

  • Concentration

  • Resolve simple conflicts

  • Encouraging empathy through socialization and hands on experiences

Common Q & A

  • Children are not required to be potty trained. Those who are not yet potty trained should wear a pull-up while attending the program. We also ask that each child bring a complete change of clothing to be kept on-site for emergencies or accidents.

  • No. However, parents are welcome to use our co-working space if they would like to remain on-site during the program.

  • Yes. Teacher Anisah sends weekly newsletters and updates through ClassDojo to keep families informed about classroom activities and important announcements. In addition, parent-teacher conferences will be scheduled to provide an opportunity for one-on-one discussions about your child's progress and development.
