🌟 Pursuit of Guidance: A Mentorship-Focused Sunday Program 🌟
Formerly known as Foundations, Pursuit of Guidance is a renewed Sunday program designed to support young Muslims as they navigate school, friendships, and personal growth. Through meaningful mentorship and a supportive community, students will engage in spiritual guidance, practical advice, small-group discussions, and opportunities to build lasting connections.
Open to boys and girls in grades 6–12, this program offers a welcoming space to learn, reflect, and grow together. Sessions will include gender-based groups, each led by dedicated male and female mentors who bring care, experience, and insight to every gathering.
General Program Vision
Rooted and Ready — building resilience through faith, belonging, and practical preparation for life.
Mentorship-focused rather than lecture-focused.
Brief group opening and closing, with more time in gender groups.
Islamic teachings connected naturally to practical life skills, activities, and reflection.
Hands-on challenges, games, movement, creative options, workshops, outings, and service.
Multiple participation options so students are not forced to speak publicly.
Anonymous questions and regular student feedback will help shape the program.
Flexible plans that can adjust to student interests, attendance, and guest availability.
Our Fall semester, beginning after Labor Day weekend, will have students explore and internalize key values essential to a young Muslim’s daily life. With mentorship at the heart of the program, Pursuit of Guidance aims to nurture character, confidence, and community.

About Sister Raihanna
Raihanna’s career and passions have been aligned with non-profit organizations, supporting the development of youth programs with intentional teaching, inclusion, and equity at the forefront. Utilizing her education in child and business development, Raihanna has led as Chief Operating Officer and contributed to community efforts across multiple states. Her human rights and child safety activism is exemplified by over a decade of work in refugee and victim advocacy, education reform, and mental health awareness.
