Join us for a Women’s Clothing Swap—an opportunity to refresh your wardrobe, exchange clothing within the community, and give gently loved pieces a new home.
This is NOT a donation drive. This is a clothing exchange where participants bring clothing and receive tickets to exchange for other pieces.
What to Bring
Please bring 5–10 pieces of women’s clothing that are new or very lightly used and in good, wearable condition.
We will accept modest clothing, including:
Abayas, jilbabs, and hijabs
Shalwar kameez
Maxi dresses
Tunics and tops
Cardigans
Outerwear
Bottoms
Please do not bring jewelry, bags, or accessories.
Bring 5–10 eligible clothing pieces to exchange. You will receive the same number of tickets as the number of clothing pieces you bring, which you can use to select other items from the swap.
Please bring your own hangers to hang your clothing. You are welcome to take your hangers back with you after the event.
As we participate in this exchange, we are reminded of the importance of giving what is good and beneficial.
“O believers! Donate from the best of what you have earned and of what We have produced for you from the earth. Do not pick out worthless things for donation, which you yourselves would only accept with closed eyes. And know that Allah is Self-Sufficient, Praiseworthy.”
— Qur’an 2:267
You will never achieve righteousness until you donate some of what you cherish. And whatever you give is certainly well known to Allah.
— Qur’an 3:92
Please keep this verse in mind when selecting the clothing you bring. Items should be something you would feel comfortable receiving yourself.
This is the first of future clothing swaps, which will include other types of apparel as we continue to grow the event.
Any leftover clothing pieces after the swap will be donated to Helping Hands.
